Review: Bad Bones - High Rollers

Bad Bones journey starts in may 2007 when Steve - Bass/vocals, Lele - Drums and Meku - Guitar/vocals, decided to unify their forces to create a new rough - rock'n'roll power trio ready to set afire every club around, increasing their fanbase with hundred of shows around Italy. Recently they have released a new album called High Rollers.

High Rollers is comprised of 10 incredible tracks where they use genres, such as Rock, and Metal. The album opens with groovy composition called American Days which, in my opinion, brings summer mood. It is followed by Lost Again - upbeat tune with sad and meaningful lyrics, so is memorable track - Wolf Town. The third track, poetically titled - Wild Rose - starts with bass guitar and additionally with drums and rhythm guitar: this one is definitely one of my favorites from the album, because this song is more sensetive and touching in comparison to others. Midnight Rider, the 4th song on the tracklist, is the one that will definitely make listeners move because of its dynamics. Starting with drums, this song brings me even Country vibes with the guitar grooves, as well as Rock'n Me. Now Or Never is an upbeat and motivational song wich remarkable hooks and high notes, as well as White Plains, which is definitely my favorite one from the album. The acoustically touched in the beginning ballad Solitary Fields, as well as Blood Trails and Story Of A Broken Bone, are the ones that help you to dive deep in thoughts after a hard day.

To sum up, everything in High Rollers comes together in a stream of consciousness style. This is unforgettable journey into the mix of rock music and meaningful lines in one piece.
