Review: C.E.N. - Restless

Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and currently a resident of Dallas, Texas, C.E.N’s natural proficiency over poetry allowed him to produce meaningful and profound lyrics. Although he initially took the initiative to become a music artist for fame and fortune, he later realized that all he desires as a musician is to be respected and valued for the art he brings to the table. His music is deep lyrically and spiritually. Restless is comprised of 13 incredible tracks where he uses genres, such as Hip-Hop and Rap. The album opens with composition called - Pray - which, in my opinion, is a great choice for the album opener. Starting with catchy beat, it brings vibes of modern hip-hop music, great rhythm also has Pride. The 5th track, 918 - tune with pleasant beat, which makes listeners move, as well as Everything. For Real, Lost My Mind and Negro Spiritual surprise us with the groovy bass: this song literally makes us feel the whole mood of the album. Melodic arrangement will definitely stay in the head for a long time. The 2nd song on the record, Can't Stop, impressed me with its atmosphere and percussion: it made this song interesting and remarkable, as well as Lil Angel. Drop Top, which is one of my favorites from the album, is an easily memorable song: it has interesting rhythm, catchy melody and features beautiful female vocal, as well as Underdog. Classic, the 6th song on the record, is the one that will definitely make listeners relax because of its calmness, as well as Outcome: they are the ones that help you to dive deep in thoughts after a hard day.

To sum up, everything in Restless comes together in a stream of consciousness style. These 13 tracks will definitely transfer you into another dimension of inspirational Hip-Hop music.
