Review: Deco Halo - Dark Quiet Corners

Deco Halo is Renee Paul and Leonard Rivers, two music veterans who have created a partnership that has survived more than 15 years. Their latest collection of songs reflects their love for the interplay between light and dark, sparse and lush, loud and soft, happiness and pain. While some lyrical themes are consistent with the previous release, the music has evolved into more pop/contemporary form, with instrumentation ranging from acoustic guitar to full orchestras.
Len and Renee will be releasing the new album, “Your Ghost,” as a series of singles over the rest of 2020, through all streaming services. Dark Quiet Corners is the brand new single and is a beautifully composed folk track. To fully express the song's meaning, pleasant vocals make listeners pay attention to the lyrics.

Dark Quiet Corners starts with acoustic guitars and strings, and when the vocals kick in, they grab the listener's attention immediately. The song gives listeners almost 4 minutes of enjoyment because of the whole mood of the track and carefully written lyrics, that makes this track a perfect example of a great ballad.

To sum up, Dark Quiet Corners is an amazingly touching song that will stay on repeat for a long time.
