Review: Emerald Suspension - Eruptions

Emerald Suspension combined stock market and economic data to make experimental music on their album, Playing the Market Years later, they released their second full length album, DIVINATION. They have also released a pair of standalone singles to honor artists who have influenced them and pioneered new paths for experimental and electronic music. Most recently, they have completed their newest release, Eruptions.

Eruptions is comprised of 6 incredible tracks where they use genres, such as Experimental and Electronic. The album opens with the composition called Level Ground which, in my opinion, is a great choice for the album opener. Starting with the spoken word, personally for me it sounds very interesting and unique. The composition is followed by song titled Eruption - tune where the band uses sounds which may seem even scary, which make this track much more interesting. Tracks Mitten Fidget, as well as Your Eurorack - are experimental tracks with the variety of sounds: they literally make us feel the whole mood of the album. Catchy melodies will definitely stay in head for a long time. The 3rd track on the record, Jaded, impressed me with catchy beat and became one of my favorites from the album: it starts with bass guitar and then develops in catchy track which will make you even move to the rhythm. Acoustically touched at the beginning General Random will help you to relax after the long day.

To sum up, everything in Eruptions comes together in a stream of consciousness style. This is unforgettable journey into the experimental music.
