Review: Michael Bross - Journeys 1

Michael Bross sculpts a sound that traverses the serene to the haunted. He conjures rhythmic murmurs, dusty atmospheres and ponderous flights amidst the ethereal. Seemingly simple on the surface, it is detailed and textured when regarded with careful attention.

Journeys 1 is comprised of 3 incredible tracks in Electronic genre. The album opens with the composition called Death Says Fly which, in my opinion, is a great choice for the album opener. Starting with the atmospheric sounds, personally for me it sounds relaxing, and appearing bass make it much more interesting. The composition is followed by song titled Never Return - it starts quietly and eventually becomes louder; the second part of the track has a dark sound and it perfectly contrasts with the beginning. The EP is closed by track Ebb Of Days, where we can feel the unique dark atmosphere and enjoy synth and guitar sounds mixed with unique rhythm.

To sum up, everything in Journeys 1 comes together in a stream of consciousness style. This is an unforgettable journey into electronic music. Check it out:
